ScreenAdvise — what it is, and how it can help
ScreenAdvise is an AI-powered chat assistant that helps you understand which chronic disease screening tests may be relevant to you, based on Singapore's screening guidelines (STRC — Screening Test Review Committee) and recognised international guidance (WHO, ACS, USPSTF) where local guidance doesn't apply. Ask a question in plain language — your age, gender, or any risk factors you have — and ScreenAdvise retrieves the matching, evidence-based recommendation rather than relying on general background knowledge alone.
Screening recommendations are scattered across guidelines, age brackets, and risk categories, which makes it hard for the public to know what applies to them personally. ScreenAdvise exists to close that gap — giving people a fast, conversational way to check current, locally-relevant screening guidance without needing to search through clinical guideline documents themselves.
ScreenAdvise is an information tool, not a medical device or a diagnostic service. It does not provide a diagnosis and does not replace consultation, evaluation, or treatment by a qualified healthcare professional. Recommendations are generated from published screening guidelines and general knowledge, and may not account for your complete medical history or individual circumstances. Always confirm your personal screening plan with your doctor before acting on anything ScreenAdvise tells you. ScreenAdvise is not intended for use in a medical emergency — if you believe you are experiencing one, call emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.
